GORE-TEX

At the core of every GORE-TEX® fabric-engineered product lies the GORE-TEX® membrane, which comprises an astonishing 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm (9 billion pores per square inch). These pores are minuscule in size, approximately 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, while being about 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This unique structure ensures that external water is effectively repelled, preventing it from infiltrating. Simultaneously, perspiration can easily evaporate through these pores, reducing the moisture trapped within the insulation. The outcome is simple: you stay warmer in cold conditions and remain drier during periods of perspiration.
